1Who we are
ColorPath is a puzzle game for iOS published by SLOCC LLC. Questions about this policy or your data: [email protected]. This policy covers the ColorPath app and the ColorPath browser demo and challenge on slocc.io.
2In plain terms
ColorPath is free and ad-supported; a one-time in-app purchase ("Remove Ads") turns ads off. Ads are non-personalized by default. We do not track you across other companies' apps or websites, and we therefore do not show Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt. We use a small amount of privacy-preserving analytics to improve the app and browser puzzles. The browser demo uses no analytics cookies or persistent analytics identifier. We don't sell your personal data.
3What's collected, and by whom
- Ads — Google AdMob (Google Mobile Ads SDK). To show ads, Google may collect device identifiers (including the advertising identifier where available and permitted), ad-interaction data (ads seen / tapped), coarse location derived from your IP address, and diagnostics such as crash and performance data. In ColorPath, ads are served non-personalized, and Google limits use of this data for ad personalization accordingly. Users in the EEA, UK, and Switzerland are shown a consent form (Google's User Messaging Platform) before ads load; users in applicable US states are shown the relevant notice and choices. See Google's Privacy Policy and How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.
- Analytics — TelemetryDeck. Privacy-first, aggregated analytics used to understand feature usage and improve the game. In the browser demo and challenge, this includes page view, play start, completion, sharing, App Store button placement, an allowlisted campaign-source category, and a broad referring-site category. The page creates a random identifier in memory for that page visit; the SDK hashes it before sending, and the identifier is not stored in a cookie, local storage, or an account. Unknown campaign and referring-site values are reduced to
other; full referring URLs are not sent. TelemetryDeck does not build advertising profiles or track you across other companies' apps and sites. - Purchases — Apple (StoreKit / App Store). If you buy "Remove Ads," Apple processes the transaction. We receive confirmation of your entitlement so we can unlock and restore it; we do not receive your payment-card details.
- App configuration — our own server. The app fetches a small settings file over HTTPS from our server to tune the game. This request sends no account, personal, or device identifiers and no cookies, and collects nothing about you.
4How we use data
To display and frequency-cap ads; to process and remember the "Remove Ads" purchase; to measure and improve app gameplay and the browser acquisition funnel; to keep the app stable (crash/performance); and to comply with law.
5Advertising choices & consent
Ads are non-personalized by default. EEA/UK/CH players give or decline consent via the in-app form and can change their choice any time from the app's privacy options. On iOS you can also reset or limit your advertising identifier in Settings → Privacy & Security. Buying "Remove Ads" stops ads entirely.
6Tracking (ATT)
ColorPath does not use Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework and does not present the tracking prompt, because we do not track you across apps and websites owned by other companies for advertising. The browser analytics described above are first-party product measurement, use no analytics cookies, and are not used to follow visitors across sites.
7Sharing
We don't sell your personal data. Data flows only to the providers above (Google, Apple, TelemetryDeck) for the purposes stated. Each has its own privacy policy.
8Retention
We keep data only as long as needed for the purposes above or as law requires; our providers retain data per their own policies.
9Children
ColorPath is a general-audience app and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13; if we learn we have, we delete it.
10Your rights
EEA/UK (GDPR): access, correction, deletion, objection/restriction, portability, and the right to withdraw consent and to complain to your data-protection authority. US state laws (e.g. California CCPA/CPRA): the right to know, delete, correct, and to opt out of "sale"/"sharing" of personal information — ColorPath's non-personalized default plus the in-app consent controls honor these choices. To exercise any right, contact [email protected] or use the in-app privacy options.
11International transfers
Your information may be processed in the United States and other countries where we or our providers operate, with appropriate safeguards.
12Changes
We'll post updates on this page with a new effective date.
